Isparta, is one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean Region with its roses and lakes. Also, 45% of the area consists of caves. City of Isparta is neighbor of Eğirdir, Gölcük and Kovada in lakes region. Kirazlı Dere (Stream) has one of the most beautiful landscapes in Turkey. Eğirdir Lake region and the forest are worth to see.
Isparta is a region which is very suitable for outdoor sports. Eğirdir Kovada National Park is a home to trekking and jeep safari lovers. Also Kasnak Mesesi National Park is very suitable for mountain hiking and climbing. Akarsu has very suitable geographic and climatic conditions for rafting and Davraz for winter sports. Also, Eğirdir Lake is one of the places that must be visited for water-sports lovers.
Isparta, which has spectacular nature conditions, also is home to historical ruins. Don’t miss the historical ruins in the ancient city in Yalvaç and the ruins in Bayat.

Arts & Entertainment
Antalya is very rich in terms of arts and entertainment. City Centre is home to artistic areas, a number of theatres and historical places.
Some call it the ‘Las Vegas’ of Antalya for Minicity which combines entertainment with education. The vast area contains scaled-down reproductions of famous Turkish architecture, including a mini Hagia-Sophia and Istanbul’s fabulous Dolmabahce Palace and it is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
State Opera and Ballet
Opera is funded by the state in Turkey, which means it is really cheap. The plays are very good. Performers are not superstars, but they are professional and some have beautiful voices. So, if a play is staged when you are in Antalya we recommend you to not miss it.
Aspendos, the most well-known ancient theatre of Turkey, is on the thirtieth Km of Antalya-Alanya highway, near the Belkıs village. Spectacular performances are done in Aspendos in summer.
Known as Attalia in ancient times, the harbour was one of the most used harbours in Ottoman time. Today, this little harbour is a home for little yachts which are used for daily trips. Also, you can see the fish boats that are still used. Harbour is in the City Center and located in the south of Cumhuriyet square.
Museums & Historical Places To visit
Antalya Archaeological Museum
With the grand halls and pre-historical ruins, Antalya Archaeology Museum, is ready for the visits of history lovers. You can spend the whole day in there.
Hadrian’s Gate, which is dedicated to Emperor Hadrian’s visit, is consisted of 3 columns and it is in Atatürk Boulevard. According to myth, Queen Sheba passed from these arched doors during his visit to Aspendos. Arches and columns are built from marble and they are restored by time.
Also known as old Antalya city, Kaleici contains marine, hotels, restaurants and shopping centres. Also, restored homes and streets carried the old Antalya architecture to today.
Placed at 18 km east of Antalya, Perge is one of the most brilliant cities of ancient times. It contains Rome city doors, theatres, walls that shows Hellenic architecture and a lot of ancient ruins.
Outdoors & Recreation
Antalya offers limitless opportunities for those who are looking for activities apart from beaches and sea. Antalya also has scuba-diving, rafting, trekking, climbing, paragliding, jeep safari and skiing.
Placed in the east of Antalya, Köprülü Kanyon is a home for rafting lovers. I starts around Beş Konak and it is 14 kilometer long.

If you like boats, mystery and history, then a day-long combined boat/bus trip to Kekova is just the right thing for you. You are going to see many bays, islands and also wreck city Apollonia and St. Nicholas Church
Antalya not only offers sun bath opportunity for 12 months but also ski in the winter in Saklıkent. Saklıkent is 45km away from Antalya and its altitude is 3km. Ski Centre, which is half an hour away froum Antalya, has homes, pansions for accommodation and restaurants for dining. You should visit Saklıkent if you like winter sports.
Antalya is very suitable for shopping lovers. Largest shopping options in are Kaleiçi area, Cumhuriyet Square and Atatürk Işıklar Street. Also, you can find daily food and vegetable markets in the streets. Kaleiçi is full of traditional textile, carpet and leather shops.
It also has souvenir, Turkish coffee, Turkish delight and jewellery shops. Migros, which is in the 100. Year Boulevard, is one of the biggest shopping centres in Antalya. Being a home for world famous brands, Migros also has game saloons cinema saloons for kids.
Deepo Outlet, Laura, She-mall, Real and Kipa are other big shopping centres in Antalya.
